We had a day off last Monday due to Thanksgiving. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Japan, so I’ve never tried whole turkey before. I’d like to try that someday, but this year we decided to grab some curry!

We discovered “Thali” by our friend’s recommendation. This was our second time to go there. As you may know already, I’m not big fan of spicy food, but their curries are an exception. It’s sooo good! We usually get a mixed curry plate (3 different curries) called “Thali Non Végé” for $9. You can choose two meat curries and one vegetable curry (or all vegetable for 8$). It comes with basmati rice, naan bread and papadum (like thin chips).

My favourite curries are spinach and butter chicken. They’re not too spicy and the taste is very addicting! I also recommend you to try their mango lassi ($3); it goes well with the food :) But just remember that the portions are very generous! I also ordered a meat samosa and it was way to much food; I almost couldn’t move after that :P (It was still worth it tought.) When you feel like indian food, go try it out! It’s well worth it!
